Ah, times change. I’m not sure if anyone still uses “handled cream soup bowls with underplates.” But if they do, they’ll loves these John Maddock & Sons Ltd. (England) vintage 1940s bowls and saucers, in a vibrant colorful pattern called “Montana.” The Ivory Ware design is red and white wild roses, with rich gold trim. It makes me hungry for something that would look appropriate with these colors–perhaps cream of potato, a nice milky white to accent the red roses.
